Talk about an inspirational venue, it's where the seminal Christmas lecture has taken place since Michael Faraday's first in 1825 but also where he conducted many of his experiments. His laboratory has been painstakingly rebuilt in the basement of the building too, complete with interactive demonstrations of the amazing discoveries he made.
No East End hipsterness for us. It's very handily in the heart of the West End - a stone's throw from the model trains in Hamleys, the Royal Academy of Arts, the shops, Green Park and a traffic free mall.
